Leave the FMCSA a Comment About Younger Drivers with a Military Background

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration is asking for comments on its new pilot program involving younger drivers with a military background. In looking to bring more service members into the trucking industry, the FMCSA is proposing the allowance of drivers aged 18-20, with military driving experience, to drive trucks in interstate commerce. This is an addition to the Fixing American’s Surface Transportation Act and gives military members a way to transition into the trucking industry.

Let the FMCSA know what you think about this pilot program by clicking the link below and following the steps. All comments must be received by November 9, 2020.
