The Truck Parking Safety Improvement Act has been introduced by U.S. Reps. Mile Bost and Angie Craig. This Act will improve highway safety for truckers out there looking for a place to park. There is a shortage of safe truck parking spots throughout the country right now and truckers are pulling over in dangerous areas to rest. This Act will establish a source of funds from the U.S. Department of Transportation to create more parking spaces and make sure our essential truckers are getting the rest they need in safe places.
