With it’s initial promise of delivery in 2019, now with some issues in production and logistics, the new Tesla semi will be delivered in late 2020. With the highly anticipated wait comes some fun facts about the new all-electric heavy truck.
- It could deliver a minimum of 1,000 horsepower and 2,000 pound-feet of torque.
- The semi will be offered with either a 300 or 500 mile range but has been known to do 600.
- The very aerodynamic tractor was inspired by Japan’s bullet trains.
