Florida Girl Scouts are Learning About the Supply Chain

Girl Scouts of Tropical Florida and Ryder System are working together to create a new patch. The supply chain patch is for girl scouts K-12 across the country. “Girl Scout Cookies and the Supply Chain” is the newest program in the system and teaches these girls about the supply chain, its importance in our society, and how it can be a career path for these young women. To earn the new patch the girls learn about the full journey of the cookies they sell and other products out there including pizza. They also learn how the supply chain affects all of our lives. This is an excellent opportunity for young women to learn about the trucking industry and how it impacts their own and other’s lives. Click the link below to learn more about this.
