Ever wonder who the safest drivers on our nation’s roads are? Well, truck drivers are at the top of that list according to a study done by the research team of Insurify. Turns out, those with the best driving records are the drivers in the public or service sectors, and those with the worst records are in the private sectors.
Insurify took its database of 2.5 million car insurance applications and found professional drivers with at least one moving violation. These were then compared to the total number of drivers in the same profession. Turns out, bus drivers have the best records followed by truck drivers and postal workers.
