Minnesota is Cutting Back on State Patrol due to Lack of Funds

The Minnesota State Patrol has cancelled its police academy this year due to a lack of funding. Those who have already enrolled for this year will have to restart the process in January. The department of corrections has also announced the closing of two minimum-security prisons.
