With truck driving being the backbone of our country, there are good trucking jobs to be had all over the place. AdvisorSmith did a study that ranked 384 U.S. cities to find out if its worth it for truckers to head there looking for jobs. According to the study, the small and midsize cities were the best for truckers and a good chunk of them were found in the Midwest. The best small city is Danville, Ill., the best midsize city is Joplin, Mo., and the best big city is Fayetteville, Ark.
