Soon, two women from Amarillo, Texas will be graduating from the Amarillo College Truck Driving Academy. With an industry that is mostly made up of men, this college highly encourages female truckers because that is who the trucking employers they work with are looking for.
Rosa Rosas, one of the truck driving students has a love for adventure and traveling. She also enjoys the job and finds it relaxing once you get the hang of it. These days, getting into the trucking industry isn’t overly complicated, there is a shortage of drivers out there, and finding your place in the business might be easier then you think.
