Trucking Companies Tricked by Government Impersonators will get Refunds

Almost 15,000 trucking companies were duped into paying motor carrier registration services by fake, government-impersonating companies. The Federal Trade Commission has agreed to refund a total of $757.946 to the trucking companies. In the end, this scheme cost the small businesses over $19 million in service fees.
