PHMSA is Changing Rules for Hauling Hand Sanitizer

The U.S. Department of Transporation Pipeline of Hazardous Materials Safety Administration is temporarily changing some of its rules regarding the shipment of hand sanitizers that contain alcohol. The COVID-19 health crisis is creating a demand for more sanitation products to be available and some trucking companies are changing up what they are hauling to help keep up with demand. Hand sanitizer is considered hazardous materials and only certain people can haul it, but now, and by road only, the regulations and rules have changed.
