During the Great American Trucking show, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration held a session where truckers and others in the industry could express their concerns and opinions about the possible changes for the Hours of Service. Some of the concerns discussed included safety, female harassment, and driver fatigue.
There were FMCSA representatives in attendance during the session including Ray Martinez the FMCSA Administrator. Also in attendance were the Real Women in Trucking and OOIDA, among others.
