Truckers are keeping our shelves full and our essential supplies available. They are driving all over the country, risking their health and lives to make sure we have what we need to make it through. Something they are finding hard to get and keep is available bandwidth. There is an increase in usage due to more people being at home all day long, including most children working remotely on their school work. Companies like Netflix and other streaming networks are lowering their streaming quality due to an over-usage of bandwidth. Truckers rely on a good stream of available data so they can use their GPS and know where they are going at all times. They also use it to keep an eye on the weather and what the traffic is like. Let’s not forget the fact that they use it to communicate with those they miss and love.
Let’s try to limit our device usage and make sure there is plenty for everyone, including those truckers out there who already have limited access.
