Jacobs Vehicle Systems has launched the North American Technology Tour promoting new technologies to further improve fuel consumption and reduce emissions. This tour includes a demonstrator truck containing High Power Density technology and Active Decompression Technology. Their goal is to show those in the trucking industry what technologies Jacobs has to offer with the ever-changing needs the trucking industry has. Some of the system highlights include faster trip times and productivity, improved brake life, and reducing starter wear.
The demonstrator truck was shown at the North American Commercial Vehicle Show in Atlanta but will start the tour in the Spring of 2020 at the Navistar Proving Grounds in South Bend, Indiana. Click the link below to read more details about this tour and schedule a tour date.
