The weigh station bypass, electronic toll payments, and safety platform PrePass has added another feature to their services. There are now alerts along Interstate 70 in Colorado warning drivers of steep grades ahead and where the runaway truck ramps are. It will also alert drivers to seven sites along the Interstate where they can check their brakes and/or complete chain-ups or removals.
These new alerts were put into place to go along with the truck safety campaign in Colorado called “The Mountain Rules”.
