The class 8 battery electric Freightliner eCascadia, built by Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA), is its first class 8 battery electric truck and it’s ready to roll out to customers. Daimler’s first two eCascadias are headed to Penske Truck Leasing in Reading, Pennsylvania and NFI of Camden, New Jersey. With the change in technologies and emissions laws, Daimler is helping pave the way into the future of zero-emissions trucks.
