There is a group of local trucking vendors who are putting on the first Winter Parts Expo in the Silverthrone Pavilion on December 17. During the winter months, driving through mountains can be a tricky venture for commercial drivers, so the ones running the expo are hoping to introduce better technology and services to help improve with these conditions. Josh Hicks, a parts sales manager of Murphy-Hoffman Co. Kenworth, MHC Denver, and MHC Grand Junction are the ones hosting this free to the public event.
