Truck Tonnage was up in December but Down for 2020

The American Trucking Associations has announced the seasonally adjusted For-Hire Truck Tonnage Index for last December and all of 2020. According to the Index, tonnage was up 7.4% in December, a healthy growth following November’s rise of 3.2%. When looking over all of 2020’s numbers, tonnage was down 3.3%. The pandemic was tough on the trucking industry but it seems to be making a comeback as numbers continue to rise. Click the link below to learn more about this.
