Kentucky Ferry Can’t Transport Large Trucks at the Moment

The Dorena-Hickman Ferry in Paducah, Kentucky will temporarily be unable to transport large trucks across the Mississippi River. The ferry will continue to stay in operation for passenger vehicles and smaller trucks but due to low water, it can’t haul heavy trucks. The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet announced the low levels and they are expecting the water to stay too low through mid-October. Those in charge of the ferry are asking people with a commercial truck to contact the ferry about operating conditions as things may change. Click the link below to learn more about this.
