The Future of Trucking and its Journey to get There

We need truckers. They deliver goods, food, medical supplies, and just about everything else. In order for them to get from point A to point B, energy is used and that energy needs to be replenished on a regular basis to keep rolling. Truckers have always been the backbone of our country but this pandemic has made sure everyone knows it and how much they are worth.

There is no such thing as free delivery, and in the trucking industry, someone is always getting paid because there are no free rides. Like any industry, profit is important, it’s how we grow. The vast majority of trucks out there run on diesel and there are new options headed our way to replace diesel but keep the trucks running. Electrical trucks are making there way to our highways and the infrastructure needed to keep them running is not too far behind.

There is a collection of fifteen states out there that have made an agreement to cut emissions and make medium and heavy-duty trucks run cleaner. Also, autonomous trucks are slowly getting their bugs worked out and may make themselves known on highways sooner than later.
