Truck Tonnage Went up in June

According to American Trucking Associations’ advanced seasonally adjusted For-Hire Truck Tonnage Index, truck tonnage increased 8.7% in June. As more states lift restrictions, truck usage and tonnage were bound to increase. When compared to June 2019, the numbers were down 1.3%, but given the health crisis, it wasn’t that small of an overall drop.
