The Alabama Trucking Association recently put out a story about a father and son who are cruising along the same highway but in different vehicles. Daniel Thompson is a Road Team Captain for the Alabama Trucking Association and a driver for FedEx Freight. Daniel’s son Paul took a different path in life and became an Alabama state trooper. Daniel and his wife are very proud of Paul’s accomplishments and the man he’s turned into. Paul and Daniel try to meet up for lunch or coffee, so if you see a police officer pulling over a trucker to give him a hug, make sure you give them plenty of room.
