Truck Traffic is Kind of Getting Back to Normal out There

States are opening back up and freight is starting to move like normal again. A study of trucks traveling put out by Samsara Networks has shown us that trucks are rolling again but there is more speeding and less hard braking going on out there. During the COVID-19 lockdown, there were fewer passenger cars on the roads, making them wide open for truckers to put the pedal down. There was also a lot less stop-and-go traffic for big trucks to get tangled up in. As speeds increased, the need for heavy braking and acceleration decreased. This study is also predicting that normal traffic will be at 95% by the end of June. Click the link below to learn more about this.
