Truck Tonnage Drastically Down in April

According to the American Trucking Associations, the For-Hire Truck Tonnage Index dropped 12.2%. In March, there was a small increase of 0.4% so this was quite the decline. This historic drop is no doubt a result of the COVID-19 pandemic affecting everyone in the country, especially those in the trucking industry.
