PENNDOT Opens Three More Rest Areas

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation has reopened three more rest areas to add to the others they have opened recently after shutting them all down when the COVID-19 pandemic kicked in. The facilities at the following rest stops will have additional cleaning and maintenance done to slow the spread of the virus. Tourism services will still not be available at any rest area throughout Pennsylvania. Click the link below to learn more about this.

  • Interstate 70 westbound in Fulton County, 1 mile west of the Maryland state line
  • Interstate 80 eastbound in Columbia County, 3.5 miles east of Exit 242
  • Interstate 80 westbound in Columbia County, 10 miles west of Exit 256.
