Data Showing what COVID-19 is Doing to the Trucking Industry

The American Transportation Research Institute has put out some numbers regarding how COVID-19 has affected the trucking industry since early February. In that time period, across six states, there was a spike in truck activity at the very beginning of this ordeal to fill the response of high consumer demand. California started out strong in the beginning but is now down 8.3 percent in truck activity. Illinois, Florida, New York, Pennsylvania, and Washington also all spiked with truck activity in the beginning but are now down 9 to 10 percent. New York has been hit the hardest with the virus but the first two weeks of April show that truck activity is on the rise. Click the link below to learn more about this information.
