Fleet Fuel Study Shows Fuel Efficiency in Trucks Keeps Improving

The 2019 Annual Fleet Fuel Study done by the North American Council for Fuel Efficiency shows that Class 8 fuel efficiency is continuing to improve. The study took into account Class 8 tractors and trailers with a goal of the fleets adopting 85 technologies and practices geared toward fuel efficiency and saving money with them. The fleets using these available technologies are increasing their usage and enjoying the fuel savings coming out of it. On a final note, the fleets in the study testing 73,844 trucks saved over $895 million in 2018.
