The area just off Exit 157 on Interstate 70 in Hays, Kansas, is going to be turned into a $40 million travel plaza. The full project will be located on a highway bypass and will include restaurants, an RV park, shops, a hotel, and a fully outfitted travel plaza. For trucks, this new plaza will include 125 parking spaces, scales, wash bays, showers, a lounge, and quick and sit down restaurants. Construction is to begin in Spring 2020.
