The guy in the trucker hat at Arden Courts Memory Care Community in Winter Springs, Florida, is John Kober. Thanks to the facility’s Heart’s Desire program, Kober got to take a ride in a big rig. This program is to help patient’s dreams come true or maybe just help them remember something. The nurses say Kober talks about his past as a trucker hauling produce along the East Coast and sometimes he mentions driving a Kenworth. So, the facility put out a call and an employee at Kenworth Trucks Central Florida showed up with a new hat and jacket for Kober and took him out for a spin.
