CDOT Might Want to Rethink how it Removes Snow on Bridges

Lawrence Casados was trucking along I-70 when he passed under a bridge where his truck was pummeled with thick snow from above. At that same moment, a plow driver with the Colorado Department of Transportation was pushing wet, slushy snow over the railing above Casados. This collection of snow shattered the truck’s windshield, spraying glass into Casado’s face. He safely pulled over to the side of the road where he found a state trooper. Luckily nobody was hurt.
