In 2008 the record tonnage going through Duluth Seaway Port Authority reached 302,000, which they have now surpassed. With the high number of wind turbine parts going through the port this past year, they have now reached a record tonnage high of 306,000. Dutch ship, the Happy River, helped with this high number by delivering wind parts eight times over the course of the season.
