10 Mile Truck Convoy in Illinois for Special Olympics

Last Saturday morning, over 90 semi-trucks and several police officers met in Tinley Park as the starting point for the Tinley Park Truck Convoy for Special Olympics. Along the route, 17 different police agencies closed-off intersection and assisted with directing traffic. In order to participate in the convoy, trucking companies have to donate a minimum of $100, plus they bid to be the truck in front. Idealease won the front spot with a winning bid of $7,500. It was a good day for police officials, trucking companies, and truck drivers to come together for a good cause.
