This leader of telematics solutions in the trucking industry recorded 6.2 billion miles of driving data this year and put together some interesting statistics about collisions, roads, and behavior.
According to the Lytx data:
- The day of the week with most collisions is Thursday and the day of the week with the least is Monday.
- The time of day with the most collisions is in the morning.
- Pennsylvania’s roads have the highest risk factor.
- Drowsy driving is a high-risk trend in trucking but has improved since last year.
- Drivers not wearing a seatbelt is increasing.
