The 13th annual Truckers for Troops fundraiser will be running from November 11 through November 15. Put on by the Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association; this telethon raises money to send service personnel in combat zones care packages. It also assists veterans’ facilities in the U.S. To be a part of this, call OOIDA’s number, 800.444.5791 and let them know you want to be a part of Truckers for Troops. You can also contribute the names of active troops in combat zones or veteran facilities that are in need of help.
