Women in Trucking Announce CEO Successor

The newly created role of vice president has been given to Deborah Ruane Sparks in anticipation of the current Women in Trucking president retiring in the coming years. Sparks will assume this role in January 2020. Ellen Voie, the current WIT president founded the organizaiton in 2007 and has been a growing and powerful voice for gender diversity in the trucking industry. Voie will be working with Sparks to ensure a seamless transition when she retires. Sparks has been a part of this industry for almost twenty years and has worked with Wreaths Across America, the Truckload Carriers Association, and for American Trucking Associations.

With many new projects in mind, Sparks will be a good asset to Women in Trucking.
