Coalition for Independent Truckers has Named its Five Ambassadors

The Coalition for Independent Truckers has announced its inaugural class of five for its Independent Contractors Ambassador program. These people will be advocating for the independent contractor model in the trucking industry. Independent contractors make up a large portion of the 71% of freight movers in this country. Together, these five have a combined 109 years of trucking and 11.2 million safe miles. The ambassadors are:

  • Steven Bettis out of Tennessee
  • Michael Hatico out of Iowa
  • Thomas Miller out of Illinois
  • Thomas Smith out of Colorado
  • Mark Boucher out of Louisiana
