First introduced in 2012 for a one-year run celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Idaho Potato Commission, the Big Idaho Potato Truck is going to be making its rounds again for another year. Even though there was questionable weather this year, the potato crops still yielded well and the media the truck brings in for the potato industry is hard to deny.
During its last tour it traveled more than 35,000 miles and participated in 50 events. Since its inception, it has visited 22,000 cities in 48 states and has traveled over 250,000 miles.
