Declan Pfund of Winona, Minnesota, celebrated his fourth birthday by honking the horn and exploring the trucks that pulled into the Minnesota State College-Southeast. His love of trucks was the start of something big for the neighborhood. It started when Declan would sit outside his house and get the truckers who drove by to honk their horns. With the request for trucks put out on social media, more trucks showed up than there was room for, so the truck driving school at the college was contacted.
Now, the Southeast Truck Fest, is one where kids (and their families) can learn about the trucking industry, explore inside the cabs, and blow the horns.
