Anheuser-Busch is Taking Large Steps in Reducing its Carbon Footprint

It’s no doubt that a company this size, thoroughly investing in the environment, is going to make a difference to the rest of the logistics and shipping world with its new plan. Anheuser-Busch is planning to purchase up to 800 of Nikola Motor’s zero-emission trucks, and by 2025 the goal is to cut its entire carbon output by 25% with an ultimate company wide goal, for the future, of zero emissions.

Anheuser-Busch is taking other steps as well to cut into their carbon emissions. They are looking into filling empty miles, reducing shipment plans, and even simple things like employee carpooling. With an ultimate goal of zero-emissions, they are also working with other companies to obtain their goals such as Transfix, Convoy, Uber, and SmartHop. With many challenges ahead, this company is taking a huge step toward taking care of our environment.
