New Jersey Freight Routes gets $30 Million

The New Jersey Department of Transportation has announced that $30.1 in grants is going towards improving routes for large trucks. These grants are part of the Local Freight Impact Fund that was created to help municipalities and counties improve their trucking routes and keep economy thriving. Projects under this fund will include new construction, bridge preservation, pavement preservation, and truck safety and mobility.
