Nebraska Trucking Company Donates Chicken to a New York Church

After dropping off as much frozen chicken a supermarket could safely store, Shaffer Trucking Company was wondering what they were going to do with the remaining 1,600 pounds of chicken they still had. The trucking company called the Hudson Police Department looking for suggestions and were overheard by a member of the Rock Solid Church who was in the station at the time. With the help of the police department, the trucker, and people from the church, they unloaded the chicken into the church’s new walk-in freezer where it awaits to help feed hungry people.
