What do you Think About Heavier Loads on Select Idaho Highways?

The Idaho Transportation Department has opened a period of time to collect comments regarding heavier loads on select highways in Latah County. Several highways in this county would be reclassified to allow commercial vehicles weighing up to 129,000 pounds. The roads include Highway 6 from the US-95 junction to Harvard, Highway 9 from Harvard to Deary, and Highway 8 from Dreary to US-95. These roads are currently rated for weight to not exceed 105,500 pounds, but Bennett Lumber Products wants them reclassified to allow more weight.
