FMCSA Declares Emergency Declaration for the Southern States in Hurricane’s Path

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration has issued a Regional Emergency Declaration for Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas. This declaration is an exemption from Parts 390 through 399 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. The FMCSA has issued this response due to what is currently happening and what could possibly happen in these areas due to Hurricane Delta. With these emergency weather situations happening these areas could possibly need the immediate transportation and delivery of supplies, foods, and anything else for relief.
