FMCSA’s New Commercial Driver Panel will Look at CMV Issues

The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration has announced its launching of a new panel of commercial motor vehicle drivers that will be joining the Motor Carrier Safety Advisory Committee. The new panel will be providing feedback regarding issues and initiatives that the commercial vehicle community has to deal with. Some of these things include hours-of-service, parking, and what goes on behind the wheel.

In this new panel there will be around 25 drivers taken from all over the CMV industry. This is necessary in order to get the full scope of what happens in this industry. The drivers are the ones behind the wheels and it’s important to listen to what they have to say and learn what their concerns are within the industry. Click the link below to learn more about this.
