Iowa’s U.S. Senator Joni Ernst has introduced a new bill that would reward the front line workers, including truck drivers, for keeping our country rolling. Named the FRNT LINE ACT, the Financial Relief Noting The Large Impact Of Our Nation’s Essential Employees Act, the new bill would help those who worked hard through the pandemic get some financial relief. Under this new bill, federal income taxes would be suspended for essential workers who earn up to $50,000 annually. Federal income taxes would be suspended for those workers to a cap set at the highest level of pay for an enlisted U.S. Armed Forces member. Click the link below to learn more about this bill.
