Due to the current pandemic, some carriers are having a difficult time adhering to the current drug and alcohol testing obligations. The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration has announced that it will be offering some flexibility when enforcing testing rates and whether or not tests can be spread out throughout the year. Carriers who are unable to follow the current rulings are asked to keep documentation for noncompliance due to the health crisis.
