FMCSA Gives Truckers More Time to Renew Their Licenses

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration has given truck drivers the ability to renew their med cards and licenses by the end of September. The last update to this notice was for licenses to be renewed by June 30, 2020, but it has now been extended through September 30, 2020. Medical certificates had to have been valid on February 29, 2020, was valid for at least 90 days, and the driver hasn’t been diagnosed with any disqualifying conditions since their last exam.
