Meal Allowance Plan Proposed for Canadian Truckers

Truckers have had a hard time this year when it comes to finding a decent meal to eat. Truck shops were shutting down along every highway, drive-thrus don’t allow walk-ups, and now food prices are skyrocketing. The Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association teamed up with the Canadian Trucking Alliance and others to propose an adjustment to the Canadian trucker meal allowance. The adjustments asked for will help the truck drivers out there with the increasing cost of foods and will show that the Canadian government recognizes the hard-working truckers out there on the roads.
