The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration has given an exemption to Motion Picture Compliance Solutions in regards to the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse’s pre-employment full query. MPCS will be allowed to run a limited query of the Clearinghouse rather than a required full pre-employment query. MPCS was granted this exemption due to the fact that it would greatly slow down their ability to hire at a speed necessary to keep up with production days, thus adding a significant increase to a production’s budget.
