The Transportation Security Administration has announced a temporary exemption for expired Transportation Worker Identification Credentials. Cards that have expired on or after March 1, 2020, will be extended for 180. This exemption went into effect April 10 and will remain in effect through July 31 unless modified later. This comes in response to the closing of a large number of TWIC enrollment centers being closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Click the link below to read the official document.
