Right now trucks are what is keeping the shelves stocked, the medical supplies available, and many other essential items available for people. Those truck drivers are running night and day to make sure we have what we need to get through this crisis. The American Trucking Associations is asking the Trump administration to keep our trucks moving, especially the ones hauling food, water, medicine, fuel, and anything else vital to getting through this COVID-19 pandemic.
They are asking for rest stops to stay open so drivers can find relief and have safe parking available. They are also asking for some trucking exemptions to be lifted so none of the essentials are hindered in transit. Right now, we need our truckers more than ever to get through this difficult time.
